A lot of tourists prefer Nassau, but I had an amazing time on Freeport. There were 2 primary beaches; one that was on the Carribean Sea and another, wilder Atlantic Ocean beach on the Lucayan side. Right down the road, within walking distance of our accommodations was the casino, the open air market and quite a few restaurants serving up some tasty fare.
On Nassau, other than the many casinos you might want to vist the Blue Lagoon Island. Here you can play with the dolphins for a once-in-a-lifetime experience you will never forget. On the island of Freeport you can ride along the beach with Trikk Pony Adventures. We booked a package with them and had the time of our lives. I thought I had died and went to heaven!
