Finding A Missing Person
May 31, 2009
In my time as a writer I have written a number of articles on topics relating to finding people online: Some of my write ups were about finding people street address free, how to find a birthday for free and more. In this article my focus is on finding someone who is missing by using other alternatives other than the internet.
No one can deny the power of the internet especially in terms of the variety of ways you can use to find people totally free. The only problem with it is that it currently reached about a third of the world population. This is a clear indication that we cannot rely only on the internet to find a missing person.
Below is useful information that you can use when trying to find someone outside of the internet.
• One of the first things to do is to report a missing person. Most countries require you to report a that someone has gone missing after 24 hours. I strongly advise that you take the time to report even if you feel like it’s not yet necessary.
• Put together the profile of the person: This include things like the age, gender, name, weight, height and anything else that can be used as means of identification.
• Try to remember when last you saw the person. You may be asked to provide this information later on.
• Consider hiring a Private Investigator. This can help with regards to creating a contact base. That is, most PIs have lots of contacts all over the world and this might help spread the word quicker.
• Find a clear photo of the person you want to find and make it into a poster to be displayed in key public areas. Some of the key areas include public library notice boards, malls, display centres etc.
• Launch a mini search campaign. If you have the some money you can hire a PR company to help spread the word in mainstream media.
• Post messages on online notice boards. As much as the internet reaches as small number of the global population, it can provide some level of information - when coupled with other sources.
